This is my second to last piece in my collection of images. Inspired by Brooks Brothers, The Great Gatsby, and Lady GaGa, this image is one of my best. The photo was taken in one of the great halls in the Louvre. It has been split in half mirroring itself. It’s been heavily filtered for the sake that the original photo was awful so this shows how easy modern photography is.

Another image for my collection features color altered clouds. Inspired by the homepage of Versace this is a testimony to those dumbasses who take pictures of the sky and put them on Instagram like its all deep and meaning, when NO it’s just a crappy picture of clouds.

Je suis pour l’avis général d’une personne seule.
Karl Lagerfeld
This being the 3rd work in my collection is inspired by my summer activities over the years. Unlike most of my class I enjoyed taking the train down into Center City Philadelphia. I took this photo on the roof of the Bellevue Hotel on Broad Street. I wanted the colors to be similar to the cover of the Pink Floyd album Animals. Now that I’m in high school it’s not uncommon for people to take the train into the city. So I stepped it up a notch and took Amtrak to Manhattan. But that’s not related to this work.

Here is the first photo in the collection, inspired by Coco Change her is an image of flowers in split lighting. Karl Lagerfeld has made many ad campaigns for Chanel featuring split lighting, dull tones, and flowers. Chanel herself used flowers, ribbons, and stars as a source of inspiration. So this image is to replicate what could be used as a Chanel ad.

Now that Spring is here I’m making a collection of images that will represent the experience of these warm months through the eyes of a youth. Similar to a clothing line I am releasing these works seasonally. My inspiration is coming from ad campaigns from Gucci, Versace, and Mugler. My works will feature things in nature that do not have simetry such as flowers, clouds, and waves, and I will arrange them in textile patterns and have the photos replace the color. I will filter the images to a bright standard to melodramatically demonstrate the essence of life other than human life that isn’t found in winter months. The next image will be posted soon…

The Modern Minority

Today the millennial generation tend to vote Democrat in protest of their elder generations who tend to vote Republican. They each voted the way they did in protest if their elder generation thinking they messed up the world. But to vote a political party for the sake of that political party is very bias and should really be recognized as so. The true way to outshine your elder generation is to research and be an informed voter. Not to vote which one sounds more innovative after watching a commercial.

To love another person is to see the face of God.

Most Tumblr pages are so oriented with European and American cities. I felt the need to bring some Asia into the topic of world travel. Asia is such a contemporary colorful utopia with few government problems. I don’t suggest living anywhere other than Japan. But if you were to visit Asia, I’d suggest Shanghai. It is the most beautiful city in all of Asia and should be highly regarded.

The misconception of Lady GaGa

It’s enjoyable how people under estimate the powers of Lady GaGa. Her reality is similar to Oscar worthy cinematography, except its all used to her advantage. She has music she writes herself and does have poetry written with Ivy Liege standards. But her life aside from music is just show. Her outfits are not only an art form she admires but it’s a tool. You are distracted by her outfits so you notice her as an icon. But what you don’t notice is it keeps you out of her personal life. It took her six months after her first album to gain international fame. So suck it Tumblr.
